I was born and raised in Manhattan ‘s De Wit Clinton section and, like many west side families, we spent wonderful summers at the shore in Rockaway Beach. My love of the water is part of the reason that we settled in Setauket 40 years ago. Although much quieter than the city, I have enjoyed living and working here. The Three Villages have much to offer starting with the charming village of Stony Brook with its green overlooking the harbor. The Jazz Club in the heart of town has wonderful events and I visit there often. The Riboli Art Center across from Stony Brook’s shops and post office is another of my favorite places.I never tire of introducing newcomers to my home town. Unlike some parts of Long Island, the Three Village area has heavily treed winding roads and historic homes reminiscent of New England and are a welcome surprise for many of my out of town customers who come here expecting something totally different. My three children attended Three Village Schools and I am proud to say that I am a graduate of Stony Brook University. The Staller Center for Fine Arts, Stony Brook University Hospital , cancer treatment center and children’s hospital are all located on the campus here in town. I am an active member and past president of the Rotary Club of Stony Brook. I have been involved in community service and enjoy my association with fellow Rotarians in their volunteer efforts. My son was fortunate enough to spend a year in Turkey as an exchange student and several of my past customers have children who have also been selected for the program. It was truly a life changing experience for my entire family.Among my other interests, I love to garden and enjoy time spent with the Three Village Garden Club. Their workshops and lectures are very informative and new members are always welcome. If you are interested, I would be happy to introduce you to our group. I keep current with other business people in the area as a member of the Three Village Chamber of Commerce. Cooking special meals is a great outlet for me and my husband. Although small, our kitchen produces treats for family and friends. Fresh herbs from the garden bring out the chemist in my soul and add to the originality of my recipes. I am willing to share those and often do. . Knitting and crocheting are some of my favorite hobbies and often it’s a toss up between a good book and making a hat or sweater.I am happy to say that I have been a well respected and successful realtor in the Three Village area since 1981. Attention to detail and professional service have earned me repeat business and a strong referral network. Knowledge, experience and ethical real estate practice combine to make my transactions as seamless as possible. I am a graduate of the nationally recognized Realty Institute, a prestigious designation achieved by a small percentage of realtors nationwide.
